Child Care Worker
The Cardinal Maida Academy, Vandergrift        ​

We are currently looking for a genuine, loving, and kind child care worker for Little Cardinals Day care located in Vandergrift, Pa.
Here at Little Cardinals we strive to help our little ones learn and grow each and everyday. We are seeking someone who has a passion for children and enjoy working closely with their families.

The responsibilities include interactions with the children in a loving and patient manner, communicating well with families and staff members, keeping the center clean and organized, helping instruct lessons and activities, and preparing snacks/breakfast daily.

There will be onsite training for the position. All staff members are wonderful and welcoming! We would be delighted to have someone just as wonderful join our team.

 Cafeteria Position - Part Time 
St. Sebastian Regional Catholic School, Belle Vernon                              

Kitchen and Eating Spaces:

  • Keeping the premises clean (sanitize all equipment and table/counter tops/sweeping/mopping/scrubbing)
  • Keeping the premises safe—securing all areas, identifying potential issues, following safety protocols
  • Putting all trash cans in a central location for emptying by the custodian
  • Runs all trays, silverware, and serving utensils through the dishwasher
  • Wash and sanitize all kitchen wash cloths
  • Wash and sanitize all eating spaces after lunch is served

Food Service:

  • Obtain a SafeServ certification
  • Maintains foods at required temperatures
  • Records food served and waste daily—breakfast and lunch
  • Checks inventory received against ordered inventory, daily
  • Transports the food from Frazier to St. Sebastian Regional Catholic School cafeteria
  • Notifies Nutrition Inc. of inventory needs
  • Has all ordered meals ready for the beginning of each lunch period

Daily tasks:

  • Using compassionate people-skills—in all forms of communication
  • Lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • Communicating immediately with the office if any challenges present themselves
  • Performing all tasks assigned by the Principal or Business/Office Mgr.

Shift:  10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.      Wage:  $7.75/hr.

Assistant Principal  
Greensburg Central Catholic Junior-Senior High School, Greensburg
Greensburg Central Catholic Junior-Senior High School, a Catholic school within the Diocese of Greensburg, is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Principal to maintain and foster an environment where learning and living the Catholic faith are the focal points for the establishment of an exemplary educational program that maximizes the growth and development of a diverse student population.  Qualified candidates will be able to provide spiritual and educational leadership while assisting the principal in ensuring superior quality in the curricular and co-curricular programs that support the school’s mission.  A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church, the Assistant Principal must possess the following:  a strong commitment to the philosophy of total Catholic education and spiritual formation, demonstrated communication and leadership skills, a Master’s degree in a field related to educational administration, Principal Certification, or the qualifications to obtain certification, at least five years of successful teaching experience along with a letter from his/her pastor.

Prospective candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred), demonstrated success in leading an individual giving or major donor program, excellent written and oral communication skills, networking ability with a high attention to detail, and a strong belief in Catholic education. Candidates should also have experience with fundraising software such as Raiser Edge, and knowledge of the principles, best practices, trends, and legal constraints of fundraising and major gift solicitation.

Director of Institutional Advancement

Greensburg Central Catholic Junior-Senior High School is seeking a full-time Director of Institutional Advancement to assist in fulfilling the school's mission by planning, executing and evaluating the advancement efforts of the school in fundraising, event planning and constituent relations.  Qualified candidates will have successful experience in and extensive knowledge of the full spectrum of advancement, including gift solicitations, stewardship, donor recognition and administration.  Prospective candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred), excellent written and oral communication skills, networking ability with a high attention to detail, and a strong belief in Catholic education. Part Time Assistant Director of Little Cardinals Daycare

Little Cardinals Daycare, located in Vandergrift is currently seeking a candidate for the position of an Assistant Director. You must have at least an associates degree within this field of work.

 

Looking for the following qualities: Very personable and friendly, people-person, highly motivated, organized and neat, professional mannerism, flexible and reliable. 

As the Assistant Director you will help and assist the Program Director with the following duties as needed: Collecting payments and billing, documenting and filing important information, scheduling, making improvements to the center, interacting with children and the families, enforcing regulations and guidelines.

Music Teacher - Part Time

Part-time Spanish or Sign Language Teacher (Grades K-6)
St. Sebastian Regional Catholic School, Belle Vernon
 

Engages students in the beauty and culture of the Spanish language, or instructs communication via American Sign Language. Students will receive two periods of language instruction each week through immersion. All courses are taught through the infusion and exemplification of our Catholic faith and beliefs.
