Marketing and Event Planning Intern

Greensburg, PA

  • This is a part-time (approx. 10 hours per week) paid internship.

Position Reports To: Director of Marketing and Chief Communications Officer

Position Background: The Diocese of Greensburg is seeking a motivated individual with interests in marketing, event planning, communications, social media, and photography to assist our communications strategy. The office of communications is responsible for upholding the Diocese of Greensburg’s name through the creation of our magazine, photography, video projects, social media, and more. Our office runs normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The duties listed below are intended to describe the general tasks of this position. Additional duties may be added on an as needed basis.

  • Provide support for materials including website content, social media posts, photography, news articles, etc.
  • Gain understanding of Diocese of Greensburg goals, philosophies, branding, and communication techniques.
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of special events.
  • Four (4) hours per week are expected in the office and six (6) hours per week in the field collecting visual media.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, even planning, communications, business, or related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Social Media.
  • Detail-oriented and organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to professional ethics and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work individually and in a team environment.
  • Dependability and punctuality are a must.

Director of Liturgy and Music

Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville, PA

Primary Responsibility:
The Director of Liturgy and Music oversees and coordinates liturgies and music for all parish celebrations and events in collaboration with the pastor and parish staff.

The Pastor of Mother of Sorrows Church

General Maintenance Technician

A non-profit in Greensburg and Connellsville area is seeking a general maintenance technician.  Must have building trades experience.  Duties would include plumbing, electrical, painting, snow removal, lawn care as well as other tasks as required.  Must have the ability to work from a ladder or lifting device. Willingness to be called to work in the event of an emergency.  Must have valid driver’s license.

Elementary School Business Manager
The Divine Redeemer School, Ford City, PA
